Meet the Team

Kim Fawcett

Founder & Lead Consultant

Kim is the President and Founder of The Inspire Group, a consulting and wellness practice that blends nonprofit strategy with soul-centered leadership. An accomplished fundraising professional with a deep commitment to inner alignment, Kim helps organizations grow sustainably while re-inspiring the people who lead and serve within them.

Early in her career, Kim established herself as a successful political fundraiser before bridging into the nonprofit sector as a Chief Revenue Officer. There, she helped lead her organization from under $2 million annually to nearly $7 million in just four years—all while executing a $12 million capital campaign. She has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to design and execute strategies that simultaneously build annual operating revenue and secure the capital needed for expansion. As a nonprofit executive, she guided her team through COVID, leadership transitions, and a capital campaign, coining the phrase “spirit-led professionals” to inspire alignment between daily work and professional callings.

Alongside her professional accomplishments, Kim has cultivated a lifelong spiritual journey. Grounded in daily prayer, meditation, and contemplative silence, Kim is shaped by the teachings of Jesus and a deep respect for wisdom that transcends traditions, cultures, and belief systems. At age 52, she returned to graduate school to earn a master’s degree in Transformative Spirituality to complement her master’s in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University. She is a certified Immersive Experience Leader and Guided Meditation Coach, with training in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy and Integrative Energy Therapy.

Kim’s life mission is to be a source of clarity, energy, and inspiration—helping individuals and organizations carve pathways that awaken purpose and align with vision. She is the proud mother of three adult children, one of whom recently served with the U.S. Peace Corps in Africa. Her absolute best friend is her dog, Theosis (“Theo”), who is almost always by her side and often makes a joyful appearance on Zoom calls. Kim makes her home in Connecticut, travels extensively, and seeks renewal in nature—often through long ocean walks that embody her favorite spiritual practice of listening, reflecting, and finding peace.

Troy Gonda

Associate Consultant

Troy Gonda is a nonprofit executive and fundraising strategist with a career grounded in one guiding principle: authentic relationships drive sustainable impact. For more than a decade, Troy has helped organizations grow by aligning mission, message, and meaningful donor engagement.

He began his fundraising career with Young Life, where he gained early success securing major gifts and cultivating long-term donor relationships. He later served in senior development and leadership roles at organizations including Bridgeport Rescue Mission, where he helped increase annual revenue from approximately $2 million to nearly $5.5 million and played a key role in managing a $15 million capital campaign.

Troy also served as Director of Development at Beth El Center, where he built the organization’s first formal development department, established systems and strategy for long-term growth, and professionalized donor engagement, fundraising operations, and communications.

In 2021, Troy co-founded The City Mission, applying his relationship-based fundraising philosophy to rapidly expand the organization’s reach, donor base, and community impact. His work consistently blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, enabling organizations to grow both internal capacity and external credibility.

Today, Troy partners with nonprofits — with a particular focus on faith-based and mission-driven organizations — providing consulting and leadership support in fundraising strategy, donor development, branding, and communications. He lives in Waterbury, Connecticut, with his wife of 16 years, Meg, and their five children.
